Newman Farm Heritage Berkshire Pork is a family owned and operated pasture pork operation located in the Southern Ozarks near Myrtle, Missouri by Mark and Rita Newman.
 

At Newman Farm we never chased the fads of the pork industry and have always stayed focused to our goal of producing a Berkshire pork product that is so delicious the consumer will stand in line to buy it.

Our pork is raised naturally "Outdoors" the Old-Fashioned way using sustainable and humane production standards with all animals bred, farrowed and raised "Outdoors" on pasture or in deep-bedded systems with plenty of fresh air, sunshine, water and high quality feeds using corn-soybean meal based rations with vitamin mineral supplements. Animal protein by-products, growth or synthetic growth promotants or the use of sub therapeutic antibiotics are never allowed, but the animals are treated with appropriate health products when necessary.

At Newman Farm we have taken pork production seriously and have a belief that quality pork begins at the farm and ends with satisfied consumers. By controlling the genetics and using our own production standards our goal has been to produce the highest quality, greatest tasting Berkshire pork product with that old-fashioned flavor that isn't just better - it's different. Today the pork industry has emphasized leanness while sacrificing meat quality. Our goal has been to use Berkshire genetics that will produce a sweet, tender, juicy palatable pork product that is better marbled with a rich pork color.
